Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training | September 14th-21st
This comprehensive course is designed for all interested in yoga and sharing its practices with pregnant women. No previous yoga experience needed. Ideal for yoga teachers, yoga students, pregnant mothers & partners, midwives, doulas, doctors, nurses, health and childbirth educators and anyone who wants to elevate their consciousness on the subject of yoga and its relationship with conception, pregnancy, childbirth and the subsequent postnatal period.
Women’s Self Defense Class | September 22nd
This self-defense class will teach you to recognize and avoid dangerous situations. You will learn a few simple physical techniques that will help you protect and defend yourself. Our instructor will be Sonia who has a First Degree Black Belt in Kung-Fu, Muay Thai, Hapkido, and Krav Maga. She also specialized in Knife Defense and has gone as far as designing her own knife made particularly for women.
SPINNING BABIES® PARENT CLASS | September 22, October 6th, November 3rd
Learn about your baby’s active role in birth. Join us at our Spinning Babies® Parent Class with a Provisional Spinning Babies Parent Educator. In a welcoming and small group setting we’ll highlight your baby’s active role in birth.
You and your partner will learn different tools and activities to create a balance in momma’s changing body.
In this class you will learn how to:
– Increase comfort (and likely sleep better!) during pregnancy
– Move your body in ways that help “make room for baby”
– Connect more deeply with your baby
– Experience less pain in childbirth
