This class is taught by a certified instructor who carefully adapts a flow for moms-to-be. Classes are designed for expecting moms 12 weeks+ and of any level of experience. Prenatal Yoga can help prepare for labor and delivery due to its pelvic floor work, focus on breathing, and dedicated time to bonding with your growing baby. At the start of class, you can share thoughts, questions, and experiences while bonding with other students in a judgment-free zone. Tools used during class are bolsters, blankets and yoga blocks which are all included. Watch some sample class videos.
This class focuses on winding down, relaxation and meditation. Plan to spend more time in fewer postures throughout the class. Many of the poses are modified to be easier and more relaxing. Props are often used such as blankets and bolsters to help relax the body and cleanse your mind.
Vinyasa means “to place in a special way” and in this case yoga postures also known as asanas. Vinyasa is the most athletic yoga style and focuses and flowing and dynamic practice. You will learn to synchronize your breath with you movements. You’ll get stronger and more flexible as you flow from one asana to the next.
This class is an introduction to the most basic yoga postures, power of breath and meditation. You will learn and explore the foundations of yoga. You should end up leaving class feeling longer, looser, and more relaxed. This class is great for beginners and no previous experience is required.
Baby & Me Yoga (0-9 Months)
Get ready to have fun with your baby while stretching the postpartum body. This class includes postures for moms, focus on breath, and emphasis on relaxation. It focuses on exercises that allow the body to heal while bonding with your baby. Classes are great for baby as well since it includes fun songs and interactive play.
Mommy & Me Zumbini (0-4 Years Old)
This class was designed by the creators of Zumba® and BabyFirst. In this class you will make music, dance and use educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun. Little ones can be woren in a baby carrier and more independent kids will dance along.
Kids Yoga (2 to 4 Years)
This yoga class is for toddler and parents. It encourages imagination, promotes exercise and enhances family bonds. You will explore simple yoga poses with engaging songs and inspiring elements such as rubber ducks, colorful scarves, and maracas. We pretend that we are trees and animals of the forest while encouraging imagination, exercise and promote family bonding.
Kids Yoga (4 to 6 Years Old)
In these imaginative sessions, we encourage children to explore simple yoga poses with engaging songs related to nature. The poses are associated with trees and animals of South Florida, such as bobcats, owls, alligators, butterflies, flamingos turtles, birds and snakes. Music and materials such as rubber duckies and colorful ribbons are all provided.
This class is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time. Yin Yoga helps to stretch the deep connective tissues between the muscles. You will increase both circulation and your flexibility while reducing pain and improving your flow of energy.
Baby Wearing 101
You can expect to learn the benefits of babywearing to both the baby and caregivers. You will learn and be able to try-on different kinds of carriers such as Slings, Wraps, Mei Dais and Soft Structured Carriers. By the end of class you will be able to confidently choose a carrier that suits you and your lifestyle. The certified instructor will also cover safety guidelines and checks that are key to safety.
Community Style Acupuncture
Acupuncture has been used for many years as a way to naturally relieve many ailments. The practice is based upon the idea that we have a system of pathways of energy that moves through the body. These energy pathways are connected to our physical body. When this flow of energy is running smoothly, we have health and wellness. In this class, you can benefit from the practice while enjoying the cost savings since it is in a peaceful group setting.
Ayuryoga is a powerful fusion of Yoga and Ayurveda, based on the integration of techniques aimed at restoring balance in our body, mind, and soul. The main aim of this class is to provide you with a practical understanding of how mental and physical energy can be conserved, refueled and controlled by simple daily choices. This class is meant to provide self-healing advice for balancing energies in the dynamics of life.
Gentle Vinyasa & Core Healing
In this class, you will mindfully integrate movement and breath in order to enhance the mind-body connection. Each pose can be modified or amplified to suit your level. You will be encouraged to try new poses, inversions, arm balances and also to learn the benefits of each pose. This class integrates gentle and intermediate core healing techniques designed to help alleviate back pain, strengthen your pelvic floor and build up abdominal muscle.
Preparing for your Birth Journey Workshop
This class will help you and your partner learn how to thrive through pregnancy, labor and postpartum. You will learn tips and tricks that will help throughout each phase. You will learn about birth plans, pushing positions, pain management, postpartum/self-care, baby care and even tips on breastfeeding. You will also be able to participate in activities which will help you bond with your birth support partner(s) and prepare emotionally for the big day and the weeks following.
